a premier tribute to the boybands, 60's/70's/80's and charts
Based in the North of England, D:vided formed in 2002, initially plying their trade as a Westlife tribute, to get themselves known, and pay the bills! They spent 2 summer seasons in Majorca where they played to audiences of up to 8000 people every night of the week! During 2004 they were followed by a film crew, and were featured in the ITV1/Sky tv show 'Costa del Cabaret' - a tv show that followed British entertainers working in Spain.
On their return to the UK, they worked at every kind of venue imaginable, from small social clubs to massive theme parks and holiday centres. They also recorded a dance version of 'Reach out [I'll be there]' for inclusion on a dance album, and recorded 'What dreams may become' for the Eurovision song contest. The track was entered via the Radio 2 search for a song contest, and made it to the final 10, with only one song being picked to go through to the 'making your mind up' tv show, the winner of which went on to represent Great Britain at the 2006 Eurovision song contest.
